- Description
- Because FBO won't allow this attachment... Here are the Late RFI responses on this project. Question 1: General note 1/C101 says that the Government will be the "repairer" of the EPA application. Is this note intended to say the Government will be the preparer of the application? Answer 1: Correct, should say "preparer" Question 2: Where is the chair rail, indicated in Detail 1/A002 to be installed? Answer 2: That chair rail was deleted from the scope Question 3: I'm having a problem with what the intent is based on sheet E400. Example Phase 1 Remove shelf...what shelf? Relocate fiber, etc. Not clear on what needs to be accomplished. Answer 3: The shelf, from what I understand, is a small structure affixed to the wall holding the existing cable/fiber/comm. wiring. That all needs to be either removed or relocated, as stated by the contract drawings. Question 4: There is no indication in the RFP documents that there is any formal commissioning process. Our interpretation is then that there is no formal process for the commissioning. If this is not the case, please indicate what that process is and who is responsible for it. Answer 4: Once the Contractor is prepared for commissioning, notify Andrew Elliott and/or the Government Construction Manager and we will make the necessary arrangements for BCE. Question 5: Sheet H002 Equipment Data references fintube FT-1, FT-2, Ft-3 and FT-4. The description of the fintube references a detail 9 on H004. We do not see fin tube or a detail 9 as referenced Answer 5: The Government is unsure why there is no detail 9 on H004. The Government will discuss with the Designer of Record. Question 6: Sheet H300 shows.75" HWS and HWR branches off of the 2" main in Phase 1 that feed (15) VVR Air Control Units. We feel this is undersized. Please confirm.75" is the correct sizing. Answer 6: Based on the GPM, it appears you are correct in that the.75" HWS & HWR seem undersized. We will discuss with the Designer of Record, but anticipate installing adequate sized piping.
