Description

Background The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Centers for Animal Health (NCAH) is a multi-agency center operating from a single campus. The facility includes the National Animal Disease Center (NADC), the National Veterinary Services Laboratories (NVSL), and the Center for Veterinary Biologics (CVB). These organizations contribute to the nation's livestock industry by conducting research, diagnostics and training, as well as evaluating veterinary biological products. The NCAH Calibration Laboratory, a part of NVSL, provides ISO 17025 Equipment Calibration Services to USDA agencies in the area, including Autoclave Temperature Calibrations. The 70+ NCAH Autoclaves provided safe, effective decontamination and sterilization of biohazardous material. The Cal Lab utilize Mesa Data loggers to provide accredited calibration of NCAH Autoclave, meeting ISO, DC and CFR standards. Contract Scope/Deliverables The purchase of Calibration Services 1. Must be an ISO 17025 Accredited Vendor 2. Calibrate every 10°C the entire Temperature range 3. Calibrate every 10PSI the entire pressure range 3. Must provide ISO 17025 compliant calibration reports, to include -Before and after data -Must include calculated Uncertainties 3. Service provided FY17 in several negotiable phases -Flexible scheduling throughout the time period 4. Units to be calibrated Mesa Data Trace Model and quantity: M4T (17 ea) M4P (6ea) M3P (28 ea) (Please see attached inventory) 5. Specifications 20°C to 140°C ±.25°C 0 PSIA to 72.5 PSIA ±.5 PSIA Or Calibrated to manufactures specifications Or a Mutual agreed upon specification 6. Additional Requirements -Minor routine maintenance to be included -Options for major work/repairs as identified -Return postage to be provided by vendor
