Description
Item Specifications This is a Request for Information (RFI) number, NNM031317R, for a tentative requirement to purchase an Arc Lamp System for the Hot Gas Facility located at Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), a ttached is the preliminary description of the Arc Lamp System. MSFC is issuing this RFI to determine if there exists an adequate number of qualified Contractors that are capable of providing this product. The Government may use the responses to this RFI for information and planning purposes. This RFI is only for the purpose of identifying potential sources as part of NASA/MSFC’s market research. No Request for Quote (RFQ) exists; therefore, do not request a copy of the RFQ. NASA/MSFC is not required to use any of the RFI’s received for any resulting RFQ. Responses to this RFI are not quotes on which NASA/MSFC can issue any orders. This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not itself constitute a RFQ. The Government does not intend to award a Schedule order based only on responses to this RFI. All information received in response to this RFI marked “Proprietary” will be protected and handled accordingly. Interested parties are responsible for adequately marking proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. Responders are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. NASA/MSFC will not pay for information received in response to this RFI. There is no commitment by the Government to issue an RFQ, make an award, or to be responsible for any monies expended by industry responses to this RFI. It is mandatory for all Contractors submitting an RFI to be active in the System for Award Management (SAM). All responses must include a completed RFI, partials will not be accepted.
