This is a Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only Solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written Solicitation is included in this posting. The solicitation number is VA263-17-R-0001 and is issued as a request for proposal (RFP). This requirement is set aside for Service Disabled, Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 621111, Offices of Physicians (except Mental Health Specialists), with a size standard of $11.0 million. To be considered for award of a Government contract, the offeror must be currently registered in System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov. Offerors are encouraged to go to the SAM database www.sam.gov and start the registration process as soon as possible to avoid possible delays should the contractor be selected as a prospective awardee. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 is soliciting proposals for a Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to an offeror capable of providing 2.8 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) Board Certified/Board Eligible Inpatient Hospitalist Physician Services on site at the Fargo VA Health Care System (FVAHCS), 2101 Elm ST N, Fargo, ND 58102. The anticipated period of performance will be from July 16, 2017 (or date of award) through July 15, 2018 for the Base Year, with four (4), one year option renewal periods. Option periods are exercised at the sole discretion of the Government. The date for receipt of offers in no later than April 14, 2017, 1:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.
