Description
THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE BEING RELEASED PURSUANT TO FEDERAL ACQUISITION REGULATION (FAR) PART 36.213-2 PRESOLICITATION NOTICES. This Presolicitation Notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP) or a promise to issue an RFP in the future. This Presolicitation Notice does not commit the Government to a binding contract. Further, the Government is not at this time seeking proposals, and will not accept unsolicited proposals. Respondents are advised that the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Presolicitation Notice. All costs associated with responding to this Presolicitation Notice will be solely at the responding party's expense. Not responding to this Presolicitation Notice does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if any is issued. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. Project Description: This project is located on the West Fork Ranger District of the Bitterroot National Forest, Ravalli County, Montana, approximately 36 miles south of Hamilton, MT, just off the West Fork Rd. Darby is the largest town close to the site, and is 20 miles northeast. The project consists of the installation of a new water distribution system at the West Fork Ranger District Office. This is a public water system (MT0062222) regulated by the Montana DEQ. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies (other than for those listed as Government-furnished items) and supervision necessary to complete the work according to the contract. The work includes, but is not limited to the following: The project includes installation of approximately 1,750 feet of 4" C-900 PVC water main, 427 feet of 2" HDPE water line, 400 feet of 1.5" HDPE water line, 726 feet of 1" HDPE water lines, and associated valves, fittings, and appurtenances. A booster pump system in the laundry house, a fire fill station, and a frost free hydrant is also replaced. Includes clearing & grubbing, erosion control, and grading and seeding of all disturbed areas. It is estimated the solicitation package will be available approximately April 1, 2016 and should be downloaded from this website at that time. No hard copies will be mailed out. Please check the website for amendments issued on this project. The work is estimated to begin May 15, 2017 and completed by July 31, 2016 which is approximately 75 calendar days. The construction magnitude of the project is between $100,000 and $250,000.
