- SOLICITATION PACKAGE IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM GETTING THIS PACKAGE PLEASE EMAIL ME FOR A COPY. carolyn.quinn@dot.gov This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the information in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is advertised as a small business set-aside in accordance with FAR Subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. This combined synopsis/solicitation (SF 1449) WILL be posted to FEDBIZOPPS ( https://www.fbo.gov/ ). The RFQ number is DTMA93Q171001, PLEASE SUBMIT QUOTES ON THE SF1449. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2005-80 effective March 2, 2015. It is the responsibility of the contractor to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The FAR clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses http://www.acquisition.gov/far/. The U.S. Maritime Administration (MARAD), New Orleans intends to award a firm fixed price purchase order for services for the post cruise repair availability for the work that will be done at the vessel's berth at Great Lakes Maritime Academy, Traverse City Michigan 49686 in accordance with the Statement of Work. SHIP CHECK - SITE VISIT A site visit will be conducted onboard the Training Ship (TS) STATE OF MICHIGAN at 08:00 a.m. until 1630 EDT on March 22 2017, 1 DAY ONLY. The TS STATE OF MICHIGAN is located at 715 East Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49686. Responses to questions will be issued by amendment to the solicitation package.
