- SOURCES SOUGHT Service for Repair of Aerobotix Inc. Coating Robots SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: Solicitation Number: Notice Type: FA8224-15-R-PAINTBOT Sources Sought The final date to submit questions and comments for this Sources Sought is 13 April 2017. Please submit all information to the following: AFSC OL:H/PZIMA, Attention: Stephen Gacioch stephen.gacioch@us.af.mil ; Phone: (801) 586-8042 Synopsis: 1. NOTICE: This is not a solicitation but rather a Sources Sought Synopsis to determine potential sources for information and planning purposes only. The government intends to award a sole source contract to Aerobotix Inc. 1.1 The purpose of this Sources Sought is to conduct market research to determine if responsible sources exist, to assist in determining if this effort can be competitive and/or a total Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811310 which has a corresponding size standard of $7.5 million. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all small businesses to include 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. The response should also include the following business information in addition to the capability statements: 1) Sources Sought Number 2) DUNS Number 3) Company Name 4) Company Address 5) Company Points of Contact, Phone, FAX, and Email Address. POC's should include individual(s) who is(are) duly authorized in managing any/all technical issues and/or questions, and individual(s) who is(are) authorized in managing any/all contractual issues and/or questions. 6) Type of Company (i.e. small business, large business, educational institution, etc.) 2. Program Details: 2.1 The Contractor shall provide technical assistance, repair, maintenance, improvement implementation, document maintenance, and training for all Aerobotix F-22 Coating Robots and Control Consoles within Hill Air Force Base (HAFB). There are a total of six (6) government owned Coating Robots and six (6) Control Consoles at HAFB. The Contractor shall ensure all Coating Robots and Control Consoles are in working order and fully operational with verification testing and Government approval. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to accomplish this service contract for the Coating Robots and Control Consoles. The contractor shall also provide training in support of maintaining these systems. It is the Government's intent that this work revert to organic responsibility at the end of this contract. The government only possesses limited data rights to the F-22 Coating Robots and Control Consoles software. Full data rights are required to perform maintenance on the system and the contractor shall possess those rights while performing maintenance on the robots and control consoles. 2.2 Aerobotix Inc. developed these coating robots and consoles under a Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase III contract. Aerobotix Inc. retains all rights to data under the SBIR contract. The government has government use rights only, and is unable to disclose data related to this requirement to other contractors. Therefore, the Government intends to award this effort as a sole source award to the Aerobotix Inc. but seeks input and other potential sources.
