Description
The Sioux Falls contracting office, NCO 23 intends to solicit, compete, and award a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract for radiation safety services. This will be a Firm-Fixed price contract with a Period of Performance beginning on or around 1 April 2017 through 31 March 2022. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, FAR Part 13, Simplified Procedures, and FAR Part 37, Service Contracting. The Request for Quote (RFQ) and all related attachments will be posted in Federal Business Opportunities (FBO), website, http://www.fedbizops.com on or around 17 March 2017. This will be an unrestricted solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541620 with a size standard of $15 million. Description of requirement: The contractor shall provide on-site radiation safety services for the VA Nebraska-Western Iowa Health Care System. A detailed description of services required will be available in the performance work statement (PWS) attached to the solicitation. This contract will have 4 line items, one (1) for the base year and one (1) for each option year thereafter. A description of the procedures to be used in awarding the contract are: Request for Quote with anticipated award date of 1 April 2017. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. Once the solicitation is posted, it is imperative that interested parties review the website frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Contractors submitting a proposal must have a Cage Code and be registered in the System of Award management (SAM) at https://www.sam.gov. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number from Dunn & Bradstreet. The contracting officer for this requirement is the Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 23 (NCO 23) 2501 W. 22nd Street Sioux Falls, SD 57105.
