- The Air Force Test Center, Installation Operational Contracting Division, Eglin AFB, Florida intends to solicit and award a Brand Name Or Equal, 100% Small Business Set-Aside, firm-fixed price contract for Ingersoll Rand Fixed Speed R-Series Rotary Screw Air Compressor R11i (or equal). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is Request for Quotation numbered FA2823-17-Q-3008. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 333912 with a size standard of 1000 employees. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote, conforming to the solicitation, provides the lowest evaluated price for a product meeting or exceeding the acceptability standards set forth in the specifications. This RFQ is limited to GSA schedule holders and no open market offers will be considered. Submission of offers: Submit signed and dated offers to the office specified in this RFQ at or before the exact time specified in this solicitation. Offers at a minimum must show: -Contractor GSA contract number -The name, address, telephone number and email address of the offeror - FAR provision 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal applies to this RFQ -Discount terms - Offerors shall submit a firm-fixed priced offers for the below CLINs •01 Offerors shall provide the items (Ingersoll Rand OR EQUAL ) and quantities outlined in the below table. •1. Requirement STATEMENT OF WORK •1. SCOPE: The project is located at Eglin AFB, Florida, 33 rd Fighter Wing, Building 1352 (Low Observable Workcenter). The FSCurtis Air Compressor that is currently installed in Building 1352 requires removal/transport/disposal. The contractor is responsible for all labor and equipment associated with removing and transporting the old FSCurtis Air Compressor. The replacement Rotary Screw Air Compressor R11i (or equal) requires purchase and installation. This new compressor will be installed in the same location as the existing FSCurtis compressor, therefore, the old compressor must be removed first. The contractor is responsible for all labor and equipment associated with the transport and installation of the new Ingersoll Rand air compressor. Tooling required for removal of the old compressor and install of the new compressor will not be provided by the 33 rd MXS. All previously mentioned expenses must be included and itemized in the contractor bid. •2. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The existence of the ombudsman does not affect the authority of the program manager, contracting officer, or source selection official. Further, the ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals, the source selection process, or the adjudication of protests or formal contract disputes. The ombudsman may refer the party to another official who can resolve the concern. (b) Before consulting with an ombudsman, interested parties must first address their concerns, issues, disagreements, and/or recommendations to the contracting officer for resolution.
