Description

The requirement is 100% BRAND NAME MANDATORY. Cobham Antenna Systems is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the Logic Converter Unit, Part number: 7-151/13. These units will interface with the existing hardware configuration of the new USN KC-130J aircraft. Solicitation N00421-17-Q-0025 is issued as intent to sole source. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with CHELTON, INC "DBA" COBHAM ANTENNA SYSTEMS, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) by FAR Part 12and 13. The requirement is 100% BRAND NAME MANDATORY. Cobham Antenna Systems is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for the Logic Converter Unit, Part number: 7-151/13. These units will interface with the existing hardware configuration of the new USN KC-130J aircraft. The use of Original Equipment Manufacturer is vital to ensures standardization and compatibility with existing model and support systems and minimizes critical measurement uncertainties due to operational and performance similarities. NOTE: If product is originating from overseas, the country of origin must be in compliance with Trade Agreements Act and must be annotated on the proposal submitted. ***Basis for Award*** This notice is intent to Sole Source with CHELTON, INC "DBA" COBHAM ANTENNA SYSTEMS ONLY New Equipment, NO Remanufactured, and all items must be covered under the manufacturer's warranty. Similar or Substitute products will not be accepted. Vendor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) Database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any Department of Defense contract. This can be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov/vendor.cfm.
