Description

Redacted J&A The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), PMA-209, awarded a sole-source delivery order for PMA-276 to Rockwell Collins Government Systems (RCGS), Cedar Rapids, IA, 52498 to convert a quantity of Two Hundred Seventy Nine (279), RT-1939(C)/ARC H-1 radios to RT-1939A(C)/ARC H-1 for H-1 aircraft. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirements." RCGS is the sole developer of the ARC-210 family of products and related ancillary equipment and maintains the proprietary rights to this radio. Accordingly, it is the only source capable of providing the required efforts.
