Description

PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE ISSUED. This is a synopsis for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 333318, and size standard is 1000 Employees. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR COPIES WILL NOT BE HONORED. GENERAL: The contractor shall provide a Mail Handling Machine with a year of preventive maintenance. The VA intends to award a firm, fixed price contract for this item. The delivery date shall be 30 days after receipt of award or earlier. DESCRIPTION/SPECIFICATIONS/WORK STATEMENT Delivery of a fully automated mail machine capable of folding and inserting at least 300,000 items per month. Machine to include a high-capacity sheet feeder capacity of 2,000 sheets 8.5 x 11 paper, letter envelope capacity of 500 envelopes of # 10 window envelopes, secondary envelope capacity of 250 9.5 x 12 Manila envelopes. The machine needs to be capable of integrated documents handling including the specifications and functions to create, format, process, track, print, fold, insert and seal into both #10 window envelopes and 9.5 x 12 Manila envelopes with minimal operator intervention. The machine must have the capability to measure and tracking postage for multiple stations. Machine will need to integrate with our current VA software Fee Basis claims system (FBCS). RFQ PACKAGE: Solicitation package VA260-17-Q-0238 shall be posted on Fedbizopps on or around March 24, 2017. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement reference above. Those who fail to complete and submit the requirements may be considered non-responsive. LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. It is the offeror s responsibility to monitor Fedbizopps for changes or amendments. All inquiries must be via email, and all questions and responses will be posted to the FEDBIZOPS website as an amendment to this original announcement.
