Description

Request for Personal Services Contractor - Disability Rights Advisor, GS-12, Step 4 Equivalent USAID is seeking offers from qualified persons to provide personal services as a Disability Rights Advisor under contract, as described in this solicitation. This PSC position is in the Center of Excellence on Democracy, Human Rights and Governance (DRG) Empowerment and Inclusion (EI) Division which leads efforts on programming for vulnerable populations. These programs work to reduce risks to vulnerable populations and to reinforce the capacities of communities, local civil society organizations, and governments to provide services and protection for vulnerable groups. The programs help vulnerable and marginalized populations gain access to opportunities that support their full participation in society. The Division provides leadership on issues such as assistive technology, physical rehabilitation, trauma and torture, children in adversity, and disability.
