Broad Agency Announcement W911NF-12-R-0011-04 Sources Sought Notice for BAA W911NF-12-R-0011-04 Topic 4.2.1 Adaptive and Intelligent Training Technology Applications to the Fiscal Year 2017 (FY17) "Automated Scenario Generation" are being solicited by the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL). The Execution Management Agent for this Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) / funding opportunity is the Army Research Laboratory Human Research and Engineering Directorate (ARL-HRED). Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) W911NF-12-R-0011-04 was publicized on Federal Business Opportunities and Grants.gov on 15 May 2012. This Sources Sought Notice calls for White Paper submissions in reference to the research within the BAA is topic 4.2.1: "Adaptive and Intelligent Training Technologies". The United States ARL BAA W911NF-12-R-0011-04, issued under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) provision 6.102(d)(2), provides for the competitive selection of proposals. Proposals submitted in response to this BAA and selected for award are considered to be the result of full and open competition and in full compliance with the provisions of Public Law 98-369, "The Competition in Contracting Act of 1984," and subsequent amendments. Funding of research and development (R&D) within ARL areas of interest will be determined by funding constraints and priorities set during each budget cycle. Awards related to the submission of White Papers requested by this Notice are subject to funds availability and priorities. ARL may choose not to select any new awards due to unavailability of funds or other factors.
