Description

The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to award with only one source, under the authority FAR 13.106-1(b)(2), the incumbent is the only logical source that can continue to provide these services without causing significant delays and negatively impacting United States Southern Command Traditional Commanders Activity (TCA) program. The requirement is for 2 months of services to provde support services to integrate, manage, train and operate financial management systems in support of the TCA program. The basis to sole source this action is to prevent a break in service to exercise the option to extend services between the current contract requirement and a new long term requirement which will be publicized and competed to the maximum extent practicable. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Any information received from this notice of intent will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement.
