- The Defense Logistics Agency Maritime Puget Sound is issuing this sources sought synopsis as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support a requirement for a 55,000 psi Ultra-High Pressure Water Jet Pump with the following features: Delivers 6.5 gpm of water at 55,000 psi Electric powered (diesel engines not acceptable) Designed for marine/industrial outdoor use Temperature range 22 degrees to 110 degrees f Maximum noise level of 84 dB(A) Pump enclosure (for noise reduction and weather protection) Field inspected and labeled by an OSHA approved NRTL laboratory NEMA 4X main control panel and separate NEMA 4X power disconnect panel Emergency stop with pressure relief Inlet water filtration Safety relief (re-settable valve or rupture disc) Forklift pockets (size of equipment) Engineered crane lift points The results of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement.
