Description
PWS Food Waste Recycling Services THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTES. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This Sources Sought Synopsis is in support of Market Research being conducted by the Marine Corps to identify potential PROVIDERS for food waste recycling services, and if this effort can be competitive or a Small Business Set-Aside. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 562219 which has a corresponding Size Standard of $38,500,000.00 The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, HUBZone, and Women-Owned and nonprofit organizations small business concerns per DFARS 252.219-7999. The government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. Additionally, please provide any anticipated teaming arrangements, along with a description of similar services offered to the Government and to commercial customers for the past three years. Any responses involving teaming agreements should delineate between the work that will be accomplished by the prime and the work accomplished by the teaming partners. Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MCIPAC), Maine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH), Regional Contracting Office - Hawaii, Kaneohe HI, is seeking sources for contractor to provide food waste recycling services. The contractor shall provide thirteen (13) containers to store food waste and shall pick-up the food waste containers three (3) times per week. The contractor shall provide 13 clean containers after each pick-up. The monthly total shall be 156 containers per the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) (See Attachment 1). The total period of performance shall be a one-year base period with three (3) one-year option periods. The contractor shall be capable of furnishing all requirements established per the PWS, at prices established at the time of a contract award. All contractors must be registered in the Systems for Award Management database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. Interested firms must respond to this notice and include the following in their Capability Statement: (a) Firm's INFORMATION [name, address, phone number, CAGE Code, DUNS Number] (b) STATUS [8(a) including graduation date, HUBZone-certified small business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business, large business, etc.] (c) CAPABILITY STATEMENT [Interested contractors must demonstrate a history of relevant experience, a summary of relevant and recent (within the last three fiscal years) performance history (identified by contract/project number, project title, dollar amount, point(s) of contact with telephone/fax numbers, and in what capacity (e.g., prime, subcontractor, etc.) performed)] (d) PAST EXPERIENCE AND APPLICABLE CERTIFICATIONS [Interested contractors must demonstrate a history of relevant experience conforming to industry standards] Companies interested should provide the above documentation by email (preferred) or fax to the Primary Point of Contact listed below. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested concerns. Responses shall be limited to 10 pages.
