Description

The VA Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with TL Services, Inc. of Van Buren, AR to provide inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair services on the temperature control systems and devices at the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital located in Hines, IL. Further information on this requirement, to include technical requirements, may be found on FBO notice VA69D-17-N-0041, posted to fbo.gov on 1/23/2017. This is a contract for six months of services, April 01, 2017 through September 30, 2017. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is 38 USC 8127, Public Law 109-461 and is implemented by VAAR 819.7007. The Government anticipates the award of a firm fixed price contract for commercial services, and the NAICS Code is 561210 with a size standard of $38.5 Million. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and services to the Contract Specialist within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements. Information must be sent via email to Michael.sands3@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
