Description
17-T-0142 Sources Sought Load Bank SOW Sources Sought Notice. No solicitation is available. This notice is released pursuant to FAR 15.201(e), Exchanges with Industry. This sources sought is a market research tool being utilized to determine potential and eligible firms capable of providing this service prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Quote (RFQ). Therefore, all interested parties are encouraged to respond. Only those vendors who meet the following criteria should respond to this sources sought notice: 1. Meets specifications as attached 2. Has an active CAGE Code with the System for Award Management (SAM) system 3. Does not appear on the Excluded Parties List Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (PNS) is seeking to identify capable sources to accomplish a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract to provide the rental of one (1) 700KW AC Resistive/Reactive Load Bank, in accordance with the attached Statement of Work, to support Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Detachment San Diego, at Naval Base Point Loma (NBPL), San Diego, CA. The Period of Performance is one year from contract award. Actual rental usage will be one week per month (12 weeks), with the option to extend up to two of those instances by one week (2 option weeks) if the equipment is unexpectedly required longer (total contract potential of 14 weeks). Per paragraph 1.1.6 of the Statement of Work, a minimum of 48 hour advance notice will be given prior to requested delivery. The NAICS code for this requirement is 335313, size standard is 1,250 employees. Responses should include the following information: Brochures/product literature, Vendor contact information including CAGE code, company name, street address, telephone number, and email address. Questions shall be submitted by e-mail to Emily Bateman at Emily.bateman@navy.mil. Verbal questions will not be accepted. Any questions will be answered by posting answers to the www.fbo.gov. If your company is capable of providing the required units, please send your response to Emily Bateman at Emily.bateman@navy.mil, no later than 3:00 PM ET on March 21, 2017.
