Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. Naval Air Warfare Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Patuxent River, Maryland, intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract for Ampex Flight Recorder Systems and associated spare parts for the MH-60R and MH-60S programs under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. It is the intent of the Department of the Navy to award as a sole source contract to Ampex Data Systems Corporation, 26460 Corporate Ave., Hayward, CA 94545. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Response(s) to this notice may be made via email or on company letterhead: include company's name, point of contact, address, phone number, DUNS number, Tax ID, business size, this source number, and a capability statement. All responses must be received by March 31, 2017. Responses may be emailed to Angela Brooks at Angela.Brooks@navy.mil. If no written response is received within fifteen (15) days, a contract may be issued without further notice.
