- 17Q0001_sol N0016417Q0001 -SOLE SOURCE- ITEM DESCRIPTION- ANNUAL PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE FOR TERADYNE HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE SUPPORT OF MODEL 9100, S/N 0343551 - FSC- D319-NAICS - 511210 Issue Date 20 MAR 2017 -Closing Date 23 MAR 2017 - Time 15:00 EST The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source and source's authorized distributors, Teradyne Inc., 700 Riverpark Drive, North Reading, MA 01864 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a) (2).The OEM owns all proprietary data for this equipment. This is being sole sourced because the items are replacement parts for current fielded systems. All other offerors may submit a quote that will be reviewed by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this solicitation is solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation is being issued pursuant to the procedures of FAR 13. Synopsis exception FAR 5.202 (a) (13) applies and Solicitation Number N0016417Q0001 is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. The Government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract resulting from this solicitation. CONTRACT AWARD: CLIN 0001-Field Service Travel Qty. 1 CLIN 0002- Field Service Labor Qty. 4 CLIN 0003-Product and Software Support Agreement Qty. 1 To be eligible for award of a Government contract, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The link to the website is https://www.sam.gov Inspection and Acceptance is to be at destination with deliver F.O.B. Destination: NSWC Crane, IN 47522-5001. Delivery: Require FOB Destination to Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane, Indiana 47522 within 30 days ARO. Quoters - Please note before preparing your quote, carefully review ALL SECTIONS. The government intends to award to the responsible contractor that represents the best value for the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted in FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. The solicitation will be available for download on 20 March 2017. Closing date will be on 23 March 2017, 15:00 EST. This notice is a synopsis and does not constitute a Request for Quote (RFQ) and it is not a commitment by the U.S. Navy to procure subject equipment, all changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to FedBizOpps. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor FedBizOpps for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
