SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE Synopsis: THIS IS A SOURCES SOGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT WILL BE AWARDED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO2), Montrose, NY (Service location is Manhattan, NY) is currently conducting a market survey to identify possible sources capable of providing equipment to track eye movements during the presentation of images on a computer screen, eye tracking software, software for recording eye movement data, installation and training, a laptop for cognitive task presentation, monitor, software for statistical analysis of the data, and moveable tables in which to place the monitor and other computing equipment. NAME/DESCRIPTION OF EQUIPMENT Eye Tracking Equipment MANUFACTURER: Tobii Model: Tobii Pro X2 or Equal The prospective contractor will be responsible for, but not limited to the following: Providing equipment to track eye movements during the presentation of images on a computer screen, eye tracking software, software for recording eye movement data, installation and training, a laptop for cognitive task presentation, monitor, software for statistical analysis of the data, and moveable tables in which to place the monitor and other computing equipment. Installation and Startup Training Onsite Two (2) Year Hardware Warranty One Year of Software and Technical Support via Telephone, email. Software Upgrades The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 423450 (Medical, Dental, and Hospital Equipment and Supplies Merchant Wholesalers) and the standard size is 200 Employees. The Product Service Code (PSC) is A. Responses to this notice must be submitted in writing (email) and must be received no later than March 29, 2017 at 4:00PM EST. Email: Pamala.tharp@va.gov. ATTN: Pamala Tharp, Contract Specialist. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Interested parties MUST provide company/individual name, a capability statement, examples of same or similar work performed at other facilities on the specific software identified above, DUNS number and address, point of contact and social-economic status. Interested parties who do not submit the above information on or before the response due date and time will not be considered for this procurement. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification/socioeconomic status (service-disabled veteran small business, veteran owned small business, woman owned small business, HUB Zone, 8(a), small business or large business), relative to NAICS 423450. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on Federal Business Opportunities website HTTPS://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
