- Description
- This notice is posted in accordance with FAR 5.204. The proposed project will be a competitive, 8(a) small business set-aside. This requirement will be a single award. The NAICS Code for this project is 236220 and the Size Standard is $36.5M. In accordance with FAR 4.1102 and DFAR 252.204-7004, Alternate A, System for Award Management (SAM); the contractor must be registered in SAM prior to award. Offerors may obtain information on registration at https://www.sam.gov. SABER provides a vehicle for the execution of a broad range of maintenance, repair, alterations, and/or new minor construction requirements. Projects will include tasks in a variety of trades including, but not limited to, site work, concrete, repairing interior/exterior finishes, special construction, roofing, electrical systems, masonry, metals, thermal and moisture protection, doors, locks, windows, carpet, mechanical, and abatement of hazardous material. All work will be performed at Travis Air Force Base, CA 94533. The period of performance for this requirement with be a two year ordering period. The estimated magnitude of this requirement is $9,900,000.00. The solicitation will be available on FBO.gov on or about 29 March 2017 with an approximate proposal due date of 27 April 2017. Specifications will be made available with the solicitation on FBO.gov. A physical site visit for this requirement will be scheduled for all potential offerors, the time and date is yet to be determined but will be listed in the official solicitation. Physical copies of the solicitation and all accompanying specifications will not be provided. All documents for this project will be uploaded to https://www.fbo.gov. The contractor shall provide a signed copy of the SF 1442 and acknowledge and/or sign all amendments at the time and place specified in the solicitation for receipt of proposals. There will not be a public opening. All proposals shall be delivered in the method and by the time specified in the SF 1442. Proposals delivered shall be marked to show the offeror's name and address, contact number, the solicitation number, and the date and time the proposals are due. Contractors shall be capable of securing bonding for the total proposed amount. Contractors that are debarred or suspended are excluded from receiving contracts. The response date cited above is an estimate, not an actual. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
