Description
The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Regional Officer, has a requirement for two 20 passenger busses with drivers to transport visitors on the tour route of Grand Coulee Dam. Buses shall be furnished from May 26 through September 5 for the base year beginning in 2017 and four option years through 2021. Bus and driver will be available on site at the Grand Coulee Dam Tour building or other specified location, between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., seven days a week. The Government intends to award a purchase order with four, one year option periods. The option periods, which the Government intends to exercise each year, are: Option Year One. May 1, 2018 to April 30, 2019, the actual work period is only May 25, 2018 to September 4, 2018. Option Year Two. May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020, the actual work period is only May 24, 2019 to September 3, 2019. Option Year Three. May 1, 2020 to April 30, 2021, the actual work period is only May 22, 2020 to September 8, 2020. Option Year Four. May 1, 2021 to September 7, 2021, the actual work period is only May 28, 2021 to September 7, 2021. Buses are to be equipped with an internal public address system, complete with a hand-held microphone. There is only one fixed route for the tours and there will be eight (8) tours per day. The bus will travel approximately 45 miles per day. The length of each tour is approximately 50 minutes. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 485510, Charter Bus Industry. The applicable service code is W023, Lease or Rental of Ground Effect Vehicles, Motor Vehicles, Trailers, and Cycles. Reclamation intends to award one fixed-price contract. The anticipated date to issue the Request for Quote, R17PS00317, (written) is approximately the fourth week of March 2017. The anticipated closing date is the first week of April. The anticipated award date is the first week of April. Prospective vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to awarding any contract resulting from this solicitation. These items will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13, simplified acquisition procedures apply. This requirement is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The Government will evaluate quotes based on factors listed in the solicitation.
