Description

Following evaluation of the Statements of Capability received in response to the Request for Information titled "M_CodeEarlyUse_012991" posted on 13 May 2016, the Government has determined that award to any source other than Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Air Force that is not expected to be recovered through competition and unacceptable delays in fulfilling the Air Force's requirements. Therefore, pursuant to 10 U.S.C. § 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(A) and (B), the Government intends to award a sole-source Cost Plus Incentive Fee (CPIF) contract to Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company, 12257 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Littleton, CO 80125-8504 for GPS M-Code Early Use tasking and performance monitoring by modifying contract FA8807-08-C-0010 to include the M-Code Early Use effort. The anticipated period of performance is from 01 Oct 2017 to 30 Apr 2020. Any responsible sources interested in this notice may submit a response or a request for the solicitation to the points of contact provided. The Government will not recognize any costs associated with inquiries or responses and only written correspondence will be accepted. All communications that contain proprietary information must be marked as such. This notice expires 15 days after publication. Submit all inquiries and responses by 5:00 PM PST on 06 April 2017.
