- The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price, Five-Year, Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity Type Contract for an Apprenticeship Training Program Services in support of employees at Arsenal's Joint Manufacturing & Technology Center located in Rock Island, Illinois. NAICS Code: 611513, Apprenticeship Training Federal Supply Code/Product Service Code: U010, Education/Training - Certifications for Educational Institutions. The previous notice for this requirement was placed under RIA-JMTC-16-N-0001. The requirement is for two-year training sessions that includes instructor-led training, all books and supplies necessary to complete coursework, including the use of a computer lab. Distance learning or online training sessions will not be acceptable. All vendors shall be accredited and adhere to the Scope of Work that will be provided at the time of solicitation issuance. The vendors shall be within 30-mile radius of JMTC for commuting distance for the apprentices. This requirement is not a set aside, and will be unrestricted. There guaranteed minimum is 1 Session, the Contract Maximum is 10 Sessions. Funding for these sessions will be done incrementally on an annual basis. It is anticipated that Sessions will overlap and run concurrently. The anticipated date of solicitation posting is on or about 15 February 2017 and will be open for 15 days. The solicitation shall be issued via the internet at http://www.fbo.gov. Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to the websites and it is the contractor's responsibility to check this site daily for any posted changes. All contractors who provide goods and/or services to the Department of Defense, must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. You may register in SAM via the Internet at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ or contact the SAM Registration Assistance Center at 1-866-606-8220, customer service, and request the registration form and assistance packet for completion.
