Description

** Only Those Contractors listed in MACC Solicitation will be allowed to Bid on this Proposal** The work includes renovations and repairs to Building 476 are as follows: Removal of existing roof covering and insulation system down to the purlins; provide metal roof covering and insulation system; Repair of damaged areas of the CMU walls; replacement of damaged portions of the siding and flashing; Removal of the existing windows and infill the openings with siding or louvers; Replace the existing exterior personnel and overhead doors and removal of the transom glazing at doors; Provision of a A/C sleeve to accommodate a through-the-wall A/C unit; Provision of a high-performance coating at the interior surface of exterior CMU walls; provision of water-repellent coating at all exterior CMU wall surfaces. The Mechanical work includes the replacement of the steam unit heaters, the addition of exhaust fans and the replacement of existing exhaust fans, stand-alone controls, and replacement of the condensate pump. Electrical repairs include the replacement of interior lighting and incidental related work.
