Attachment 2 - QASP Attachment 1 - Survey Area Maps Request for Quotes - Tribal Housing Cultural Resources Inventory Solicitation is posted. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Portland District (CENWP) proposes to construct a tribal village pursuant to the Flood Control Act of 1950. Currently, three sites in Klickitat County are under review as possible locations. USACE is responsible for compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). USACE works closely with interested and affected tribes, State Historic Preservation Offices (SHPOs), and other agencies for cultural resource management in compliance with Section 106 of the NHPA. The US Army Corps of Engineers - Portland District will solicit a Request for Proposals (RFP) for cultural resources inventory of three separate locations for a total of 137 acres. The locations inventoried are Spearfish (34 acres), Horsethief (43 acres), and Wishram (60 acres). Cultural resources include, but are not limited to, archaeological resources, built structures potentially more than 50 years of age, rock features, artifacts, petroglyphs, pictographs, and traditional cultural properties. Project Area Conditions. The study area for the Tribal Housing project is in Klickitat County, Washington. USACE owns and manages two locations, Horsethief and Spearfish, and the third, Wishram, is in private ownership. The period of performance for this project is 365 days after contract award. The solicitation is expected to be posted on 17 March 2017, and will likely close on 31 March 2017. Contract award is anticipated to be on 7 April 2017. Offerors must ensure registration in the System for Award Management database at https://www.sam.gov prior to any contract award.
