Description
This is a market survey for the acquisition of Boonton Peak Power Analyzers (Part Number 57006, NSN 6625-01-599-8304) and Boonton Peak Power Sensors (Part Number 4500B-01, NSN 6625-01-537-2708) for the Air Route Surveillance Radar 4 (ARSR-4) and Common Air Route Surveillance Radar (CARSR) Systems. The equipment will be sent to the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC) in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Currently, the only known source for this equipment is Boonton Electronics Corporation, Parsippany, New Jersey. Vendors are encouraged to review this announcement on the FAA s Contract Opportunities Website at https://facco.faa.gov. The purpose of this announcement is to conduct a market survey to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from interested vendors in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Policy 3.2.1.2.1. This market survey will enable the FAA to review responses that are current and will assist with acquisition planning based on current data. Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. The FAA contemplates awarding a Firm-Fixed Price order for this requirement. The FAA will review the responses to this Market Survey and will make appropriate acquisition planning decisions that best meet the FAA s needs. The results of the Market Survey will assist the FAA to determine the extent of the requirement that may be set-aside for small businesses, socially and economically disadvantaged small businesses [8(a)] and Service disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code and size effort applicable to this requirement: NAICS: 334515 Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals Size Standard: 750 Employees Interested firms submitting the response are requested to provide the following information: COMPANY INFORMATION - Name and address of company - Point of contact (name, title, telephone number, and email address) CAPABILITY STATEMENT This document should identify the following: - Capability of providing the equipment - Number of years in business Interested firms are asked to submit a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification if applicable. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to this RFQ. Therefore any cost associated with the submission is solely at the interested vendor s expense. All responses to this market survey should be received by 5:00 p.m. Central (Oklahoma) Time, Friday, March 31, 2017. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the FAA will arise as a result of submission of responses to this market survey and the FAA s use of such information. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small business owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
