- Page 1 of 1 The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Acquisition Operations, Technology Acquisition Center (TAC), intends to enter into a firm fixed price contract on the basis of other than full and open competition for IntelePACS servers, IntelePACS software, installation, integration, training and maintenance support services to Intelerad Medical System (Intelrad), Central Station, 895 de la Gauchetiere W. Suite 400 Montreal, QC, Canada, H3B 4G1. This procurement is for the deployment of an additional functional instance of IntelePACS for the VA National Teleradiology Program (VANTP) to support review of previously reported radiology cases, and the deployment of an additional VANTP Picture Archiving and Communication System Reading Center in New York, New York (Manhattan). The Statutory Authority permitting other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 3304(a)(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 6.302-1 entitled, Only Once Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will satisfy Agency Requirements. The estimated date of award for this action is March 24, 2017. The period of performance (PoP) for delivery, installation and configuration is within 21 days of award. The PoP for the maintenance shall commence upon successful installation. Commercial acquisition procedures will be used. The primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334510 and size standard is 1,250 employees. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capabilities statement or proposal which shall be considered by VA. Any information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.
