Description
1. The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a contract on a sole source basis to S&P Global Market Intelligence, LLC; 55 Water Street; New York, NY 10041. The SEC requires a commercial-off-the-shelf business and financial information service that provides access to North American and global financial data. This contract will be for a base period of 12 months with four (4) 12-month option periods. The contract will also include FAR Clause 52.217-8 - Option to Extend Services, which allows the government to extend the contract performance up to an additional six months. The SEC has the following requirement: Compustat North America and Compustat Global Databases delivered via the Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) platform, CRSP/Compustat Merged Database delivered via the WRDS platform, Compustat Unrestated Quarterly Data delivered via the WRDS platform, S&P Capital IQ Financials & Valuations, and Execucomp Database delivered via the WRDS platform. S&P Global Market Intelligence, LLC has been the only source identified that can meet the SEC's requirement. The SEC intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sole source under the authority of FAR Subpart 13.5 in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901. Interested sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which will be considered by the agency. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of statements, proposals, or quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation or additional information will be made available with regard to this sole source notice. NAICS code is 519190- All Other Information Services. 2.
