Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make a Sole Source award under FAR 13.106(b) to McKesson Corporation, One Post Street, San Francisco, CA 94104-5222 for Antihemophilic Recombinate IV Solution 2100 Unit for Medical use at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri. The procurement will be for an estimated usage of 10 vials per month for one (1) inmate patient on an as needed basis. This acquisition is Unrestricted and FOB destination. Quantity is an estimate only based on current population needs and will not be guaranteed. Delivery shall be made to the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 W. Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri. Any vendor who believes they can meet these requirements shall provide written notification to the Contracting Officer by March 30, 2017, 10:00 a.m. CST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirements listed and must show competition would be advantageous to the Government at this time. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice will solely be at the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for the needed requirement on an as needed basis. If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the sole source procurement to McKesson Corporation. Responses may be emailed to hxhenry@bop.gov by the response date above. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations have the right to submit offers/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts. All vendors doing business with the federal government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) system.
