- This is a Request for Information (RFI). The USDA-ARS intends to purchase this item(s) if and when funding becomes available. This request is submitted for the USDA-ARS to build a requirement and find potential vendors for product(s) to enhance research capabilities. Specifications below are based on the National Reel Oven with Stands being used. The USDA-ARS requests proposed products that meet and/or exceed the current specifications for the listed item. The USDA-ARS is looking to upgrade aging equipment with state of the art products. The USDA-ARS is currently using National Reel Oven with Stands: Important functions for suggestions: -Replace National reel type laboratory baking oven -Reel type oven with automatic stop when door open -Power requirements 208 30 amp and 110 20 amp service -Mechanical convection heating 100F to 600F heating range -Small door opening to prevent heat loss Information to be sent to: Brian Fien at Brian.Fien@ars.usda.gov, for questions please call 509-335-3349.
