Description

This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential vendors relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112 (Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing) and whether or not these items requested are offered on a Federal Supply Schedule. The Department of Veteran s Affairs is seeking sources to provide a Steam Sterilizer. The vendor shall be able to provide a brand name (Evolution 66" Loading Car and transfer carriage) or equal offering the following salient characteristics: Capable to utilize with single cart up to 25 pounds Must have swivel casters Must have a docking mechanism for alignment Must have racks and shelves for sterilizer chamber size Capable to load and unload carts upon cycle completion Display screen Push button controls on both sides of the load table Maximum load capacity 500 pounds Start cycles automatically with option bar code reader Overall chamber sizing not to exceed 27" Automated chamber doors Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this product. Please include your business size with your submittal and whether or not this product is offered via Open Market or via FSS. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339112 and the small business size standard is 1000 Employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Omar.Cante@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than 2:00 pm Central Standard Time on March 27, 2017.
