Description

Department of Veterans Affairs VA MidSouth Healthcare Network (VISN 9) Notice of Intent to Sole Source: The Veteran Affairs Medical Center (VAMC)Nashville, 1310 24th Ave South, Nashville, TN 37212-2637 intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Lumenis Energy to Healthcare, of San Jose, CA, for the SC Bio6 Laser. The NAICS code for these supplies is 334510 Electromedical and Electrotherapeutic Apparatus Manufacturing with a size standard of 500 Employees. The Government believes that Lumenis Energy to Healthcare is the only authorized provider for the lasers required for their eye surgical lasers. This is a sole source procurement utilizing, 38 U.S.C. 8153 and Other than Full and Open Competition (FAR 6.302-1). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes, however; any firm that believes it can provide these supplies may give written notification to the Contract Specialist, no later than 4:00 PM CST, March 28, 2017. Supporting evidence of ability to provide registered barcode SC Bio6 Laser ® must be furnished in sufficient detail, to the Contract Specialist Trudy Bryant via email address: Gertrude.bryant@va.gov or faxed to (615)849-3769. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, VA will proceed with the sole source negotiation to Lumenis Energy to Healthcare for the required SC Bio6 Laser. Again, the deadline to submit any written notifications is March 28, 2017 @ 4:00 PM CST.
