- Description
- The contractor will provide all labor, material, equipment, transportation, tools and supervision required to provide site preparation, foundations, necessary utilities and a secure enclosure for a new DASR (Digital Airport Surveillance Radar) facility. There is a designated existing hilltop, wooded area which is to be cleared and leveled to accommodate the new enclosed radar equipment. While the replacement radar tower and two precast concrete equipment enclosures shall be provided and installed by others under a separate contract, the DASR project scope of work includes the design and construction of an elevated foundation and slab for the radar tower and two elevated foundations and slabs to receive the precast concrete equipment enclosures (reference Chapter 6 for example documents for the radar tower, engine/generator building enclosure and equipment enclosure structures ) along with the appropriate concrete access walkways, entry landings, electrical and data service conduits. All work will be at Naval Air Station, Meridian MS.
