- Title: Republic Water and Wastewater Replacement, Colville National Forest, Republic Ranger District, Ferry County, Washington State. The Republic Ranger District of the Colville National Forest, located in North Eastern Washington State has a requirement for replacement of the water distribution lines and the wastewater collection lines at the district office compound. Water line work includes approximately 1,745 feet of new line and associated system features (excavation and back fill, line fittings, building connections, valves, manholes, valve boxes, water meter, and vault, and replacement of removed surfacing). Wastewater line work includes approximately 2,075 feet of new line and associated system features (excavation, backfill, line fittings, building connections, manholes, and replacement of removed surfacing). The Contractor shall furnish all management, labor, equipment, supervision, tools, materials, transportation, operating supplies, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment insurance and incidentals necessary to perform the work in accordance with the drawings and specification of the contract. Directions to the site from Colville, WA are: travel north 13 miles on Highway 395 to WA State Highway 20 (Sherman Pass Scenic Byway), then west on State Highway 20 for 40 mile to Republic Washington. Turn right on W Delaware Ave. At the T in the road turn right. Take the next left on to E 6th St. Continue to the Republic Ranger District Compound to the left. The work is estimated to start approximately around July 1, 2017 and the work must be completed by September 1, 2017. The actual competition date will be in the solicitation. The project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The awarded Contractor will have to provide a bid guarantee, payment and performance bonds. This procurement requires the use of Biobased products to the extent that such products are reasonably available, meet agency or relevant industry performance standards, and are reasonably priced. The products should first be acquired from the USDA designated products categories. This project will be advertised as a written request for proposals. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is To Be Determined. The actual due date of proposals will be listed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be posted on this site. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for HubZone small business concerns. NAICS code is 237110, size standard is $36.5 million. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered. An electronic copy of the solicitation will be posted at this site on the issue date.
