Description

The Federal Aviation Administration, Northwest Mountain Region, Western Service Area Acquisitions, is conducting a Market Survey to improve the Government's understanding of the current marketplace and to identify capable sources. Interested sources must respond with information to confirm evidence of their qualifications and capabilities. Responses to this market survey will be used to determine if there is adequate competition to set the requirement aside for Socially and Economically Disadvantaged Businesses (SEDB/8(a)), Small Businesses, or full and open competition. This survey is being conducted in accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) Section 3.2.1.2.1. This survey will support market research obtained from multiple sources and will be utilized for planning purposes only. (a)This is not a Screening Information Request or Request for Proposals of any kind; (b)The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals; (c)The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey; and (d)Any costs associated with the market survey submittal is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. SCOPE OF WORK: Work includes: -Demo computer room air-conditioners AHU-6 through 10, associated plumbing, electrical, and controls. -Install new computer room air-conditioners AHU-6 through 10, associated plumbing, electrical, and controls. -Demo and Replace all dampers, actuators, and control sensors associated with AHU 201, 202, 203, 204, and 205 A&B. See the attached DRAFT Scope of Work for all details. (The Specifications are not final and is subject to change). ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE: Firm, Fixed Price. NAICS CODE: 238220 “ Plumbing, Heating, and Air-Conditioning Contractors ESTIMATED DOLLAR VALUE: Between $250,000 and $500,000.
