- Description
- Advance Notice - GSA, DHS SETS Industry Day and Small Business Event The U.S. General Services Administration, Federal Acquisition Service, Assisted Acquisition Services, Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM) announces the St. Elizabeths Technology Services (SETS) acquisition supporting the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in providing the continuation of services for Requirements Analysis and Design, Implementation, Testing, O&M, Logistics, and Transitional Services for the Information Technology (IT) systems and services on the St. Elizabeths Campus in Southeast Washington, DC. GSA FEDSIM solicited these requirements previously under Alliant Task Order Request (TOR) GST0011AJ0021 on March 15, 2011, with the name, "Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Technology Integration Program (TIP)." GSA FEDSIM awarded a single task order as a result of TOR GST0011AJ0021 on June 6, 2011, to support DHS TIP. An Industry Day and Small Business Participation Event will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 in the GSA Auditorium located in the General Services Administration Building at 1800 F St NW, Washington, DC 20006. The event will begin at 1:00PM Eastern Time (ET) and conclude at 3:30PM ET. Sign in for the event will begin at 12:00PM ET. The Government will provide a presentation summarizing the SETS acquisition to Alliant Contract Holders and small businesses seeking subcontracting opportunities at the Industry Day. While the SETS acquisition is being issued under the Alliant Governmentwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC), the Government would like to encourage small businesses that possess relevant capabilities to attend this event and seek subcontracting opportunities. Following the presentation, there will be an opportunity to ask questions about the requirements as well as networking opportunities for Alliant Contract Holders and small businesses. Please email aaron.sannutti@gsa.gov by no later than 11:00AM EST on March 30, 2017 in order to register for this event and note that a maximum of three attendees per company may attend this event. In your response please include the full name and position of each attendee as well as the business name and size that is being represented. A list of small business registrants will be provided to Alliant Contract Holders. All questions and communications regarding this advance notice shall be sent via email to aaron.sannutti@gsa.gov. ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS: It is recommended that visitors for the SETS Industry Day use the South Lobby Entrance on E street and arrive at least 60 minutes early to avoid long lines and delays in the lobby area and be able to report to the event on time. Upon arrival, all non-Federal employees must display a Government issued picture ID and provide the guard with the reason for the visit. In this case you are visiting for the SETS Industry Day. The visitor will then pass through a metal detector and have their packages/bags scanned. The GSA Auditorium is located on floor 1 in corridor 0 and GSA employees will be available to provide directions and escort to the event. There will not be a webinar or call in number to attend the event virtually. However, the presentation slides and correspondence of questions and answers will be made available as an amendment to this notice.
