- Description
- The National Park Service, Intermountain Region, Santa Fe Major Acquisition Buying Office, has a requirement to transfer, stockpiling and road maintenance at from Redondo Meadow Gravel Pit to the abandoned La Jara barrow pit located within the Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP) 2 miles from Highway 4, mile post 39. Work will consist of (but not limited to) providing all labor, supervision, material, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and incidentals necessary to perform the loading and transport of 4,000 cubic yards of 11/2 ¿ minus crushed rock base from Redondo Meadow Gravel Pit to the abandoned La Jara barrow pit located within the Valles Caldera National Preserve (VCNP) 2 miles from Highway 4, mile post 39. Detailed Statement of Work (SOW), specifications, and drawings are attached. This procurement will be 100% set-aside for Total Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 237310. The small business standard is $36.5M. In accordance with FAR 36.204(d) the Project Magnitude is between $25,000 and $100,000. One (1) firm-fixed price contract will be awarded on a best value basis. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed price construction contract is expected to be awarded to a prime contractor on or around the middle of April 2016. Davis Bacon prevailing wages for Rio Arriba and Sandoval Counties in New Mexico will apply. The Government will award one contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. Hard copy documents including drawings will not be available - all documents will be posted at the listed websites for download.
