CHAPTER 8: FORMS AND FORMATS Page 8-2 VA Leasing Handbook - Revised Outline VETERANS AFFAIRS WANTS TO LEASE SPACE The Department of Veterans Affairs desires to lease sufficient rentable square footage to yield 6,000 rentable square feet in Colorado Springs, CO for use as out-patient clinical/telehealth space. The space must be on no more than 1 floor of contiguous space and can be provided by modification of existing space. On-site surface parking for 30 vehicles is required and a motorhome type vehicle. A firm-term lease for up to 10 years will be considered. The offered space must be within the following boundaries: East of Austin Bluffs; west of Marksheffel; north of North Carefree; and south of North Union. A market survey of properties offered for lease will be conducted by VA.
