- Request For Quotation; SF-18 Sole Source Justification Statement of Work Wage Determination Federal Acquisition Regulation Clauses This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and no other solicitation documents will be issued. This announcement includes the attached Request for Quotation SF-1449 (RFQ) Number HSCG52-17-Q-1SA292, Scope of Work, and Justification of Other Than Full and Open Competition. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95 (19 JAN 2017). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 713940. The United States Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod intends to negotiate and award a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order on a sole source basis to The Massachusetts Maritime Academy Pub, Incorporated, 101 Academy Drive, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532-3405, and Cage Code: 0KFC5. Period of Performance: Base 01MAY2017 - 31MAR2018 plus Option Year (1): 01APR2018 - 31MAR2019. It is the Government's belief that The Massachusetts Maritime Academy Pub, Inc. is the only vendor able to provide pool service that meets the attached statement of work. The proposed contract action resulting from this synopsis/solicitation for commercial supplies is the Governments intention to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 & 13.106-1(b). Interested persons/parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All quotations and proposals received will be considered by the USCG Air Station Cape Cod. A current System for Award Management (SAM) Date Search was conducted on March 21, 2017 by the Contracting Officer. This Contractor is current/active in SAM and does not have any active Exclusion. This is considered to be a Sole Source Acquisitions. See the attached Justification. (3) Price, availability and any discount terms. We are a Tax Exempt Agency; please do not include Federal or State Taxes in the quoted price. (4) Completed copy of the representations and certifications FAR subpart 52.2(see document titled FAR Clauses attached to this solicitation). (5) Company Tax Information Number and DUNS Number. Vendor must be registered or agree to register with System for Award Management, www.sam.gov, formerly known as Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov before the award can be made. (6) If the offer is not submitted on the SF-1449 provided include a statement specifying the extent of agreement with all terms, conditions, and provisions included in the solicitation. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information, or reject the terms and conditions of the solicitation may be excluded from consideration; (7) all responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency.
