- The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 22, intends to award a sole source firm fixed price contract under the authority of Title 38, U.S.C. Sections 8127 - 8128 and in accordance with VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) 819.7008, to Blueridge Technology Inc., 4541 Montair Ave 23B, Long Beach, CA 90808. The proposed action will complete boiler maintenance and inspection of fire tube boilers for VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System (VAGLAHS), VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center. The VAGLAHS requests the maintenance and inspection service for the higher pressure steam fire tube boilers at the VA Sepulveda Ambulatory Care Center in order to keep the safety of the Veterans, staffs, guests, and the facilities. This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. This notice is to comply with the posting requirements identified in FAR Part 5. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing via e-mail to Ryoko Foran at Ryoko.Foran@va.gov with solicitation number/title VA262-17-Q-0629/Boiler Maintenance and Inspection. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities no later than 9:00 A.M. (PDT) on March 31, 2017. The interested parties bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt. Interested parties shall e-mail all statements, quote, and capabilities to Ryoko Foran at Ryoko.Foran@va.gov.
