Description
The contractor shall furnish all parts, material, labor, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the work for Building 402 Secure Area. Comm Room, Annex A: 1. Contractor to fabricate and install man bars on two ducts, one on the north wall and the other on the west wall when entering the room. 2. Contractor shall install inspection ports on the two ducts entering the room. 3. Contractor shall install sound baffle box on the west wall fan unit on the two duct penetrations. 4. Contractor to install di-electric breaks on the penetrations entering the room. 5. Contractor to paint the wall above the suspended ceiling and below the raised floor in the room to match the color of the existing wall. 6. Conduit runs between the communication room vault and each office/room 109 and PTC-2 with fiber optic cabling as needed. b. Room 402A: 1. Doors (main entry and emergency exit) will be left as is with sound masking units. 2. Contractor will validate existing conduits, piping entering/exiting the area are grounded. Piping, conduit that are not grounded will be grounded as required by electrical code or ICD/ICS 705. 3. Fire suppression lines will be left as is. 4. Contractor will validate seals around all pipes, conduit, HVAC are necessary acoustically sealed before painting. 5. On the west and north end the contractor shall remove the exposed wire connected to the white noise device from inside the wall and place in a conduit above the ceiling. 6. Contractor shall relocate the existing white noise generator from its current location and fasten it properly against the south wall above the suspended ceiling. 7. Contractor shall place a solid surface plate over the penetration in the wall. 8. Contractor shall move the existing motion detector located in the west area of the space closer to the west perimeter door and assure the wires are in existing conduit back to the Alarm System. 9. Contractor will modify/replace sound seal around the emergency exit door frame to ensure no light enters between door and frame. 10. Contractor shall remove the existing BMS's at the perimeter entrances and replace them with HSS level 2 switches. 11. Contractor shall paint the wall above the suspended ceiling and below the raised floor in the room to match the color of the existing wall. 12. Contractor shall inspect the fasteners supporting the duct work above the suspended ceiling and assure the duct work is supported correctly throughout the space. 13. *Contractor will need to remove the electrical outlets located along the north wall and install then in Panduit in the same locations. c. Man Trap: 1. Contractor shall remove the electrical outlet located on the north wall and the switches located on the east wall and place them in Panduit. 2. Contractor shall seal the penetrations with a solid surface plate. 3. Contractor shall relocate the existing fire alarm strobe and advantor screen in Panduit on the east wall. 4. Contractor shall provide a new Advantor Infraguard II, (or an approved equal) FIPS/SCIF Chip with Infratouch (or approved equal) keypad. The Advantor (or an approved equal) panel shall be re-programmed and installed with all testing complete prior to turning it over to USACE. 5. Contractor shall install a camera, phone and doorbell at the east entrance door and run the feed to the control room inside of the secure space to a monitor. 6. Contractor shall seal the tow penetrations d. PTC 2 Room: 1. *Contractor shall install a new electrical panel inside of PTC 2 and relocate the breakers controlling the alarm system and security system in this new panel. 2. Contractor shall remove the BMS's located in PTC 2 and the Vault room with HHS level 2 switches. 3. Contractor shall install a blue light in PTC 2 located in the center of the room and operated by a switch located next to the entrance door
