The purpose of this amendment is for Q&A and to extend close date to 28 Mar 2017 10am PST. Question 01: information on the transmissions for this boat Answer 01: Twin disc P10678 Question 02 I need you to specify bullet point number 10, metal inserts for exhaust leaks. What exactly is leaking; are you talking about heli-coil thread inserts for the manifold bolt holes? Answer 02: Exhaust leak is water coming out of the elbow which supposed to discharge over the side. Question 03 : The hydraulic system service; is this for the jet drives? Answer 03: Yes, to control the buckets -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- Amendment 0001 Effective date 24 Mar 2017. The purpose of this amendment is to extend RFQ close date to 27 Mar 2017 10am PST. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------- This is a SSC Pacific combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation. This is a Total Small Business Set Aside (FAR 52.219-6). Only quotes submitted by Small Business Concerns will be accepted by the Government. Any quote that is submitted by a contractor that is not a Small Business will not be considered for award. Competitive quotes are being requested under N66001-17-T-6697. This Urgent requirement is set-aside for small businesses, NAICS code is 336310 and the size standard is 1,000 Employees. Basis of award: The government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price purchase order and it will be based on the lowest priced technically acceptable. See attached Statement of Work "QUOTE BRAND NAME - DO NOT SUBSTITUTE" 1. Contractor shall install a Reverso 12 volt/4 Valve Oil Change 3010 Light Duty on Port and Starboard engines and Port and Starboard gear boxes. 2. Contractor shall service gear box port and starboard (new fluid and filter) 3. Contractor shall service hydraulic system on port and starboard. (fluid and filter) 4. Contractor shall check battery condition and charging systems. 5. Contractor shall replace all fuel filters and Racor filters port and starboard. 6. Contractor shall replace engine oil and oil filters on port and starboard engine. 7. Contractor shall replace coolant on port and starboard engine, 8. Contractor shall service intercoolers remove and clean core 9. Contractor shall service port and starboard engine K/N air filters (clean and oil) 10. Contractor shall insert metal inserts on the exhaust leaks on port and starboard. 11. Contractor shall replace bucket position cables on port and starboard. 12. Contractor shall inspect the fire suppression system. 13. Contractor shall install an inverter charger Xantrex Prosine 1800; model # 806 1851 (24 volt) to 120 VAC, 60 Hz and 1800W, and install two GFI outlets and a Cooper Bussman Sure Power Equalizer; model 21100 EOO (100 amp) and a Go Power Inverter Fuse; model FBL 110 (110 amp) 14. Contractor shall service overhead set adjust. 15. Contractor shall provide current Zodiac and Cummins certifications to perform all RHIB and engine repairs. To be considered for award, the offeror certifies that the product(s) being offered is an original, new and Trade Agreements Act (TAA) compliant product, and that the subject products are eligible for all manufacturer warranties and other ancillary services or options provided by the manufacturer. Offeror further certifies that it is authorized by the manufacturer to sell the products that are the subject of this action in the US (i.e., that the products are TAA compliant and that the offeror is authorized to sell them in the US). Offerors are required to submit documentation with the offer identifying its supply chain for the product, and certifying that all products are new, TAA compliant, and in their original packaging. By making an offer, offeror also consents to no cost cancellation of the non-compliant awarded items if, upon inspection after delivery, any products provided are not recognized or acknowledged by the manufacturer as new and original products that are eligible for warranties and all other ancillary services or options provided by the manufacturer or that offeror was not authorized by the manufacturer to sell the product in the US, or that the product is in some manner not TAA compliant. NMCARS 5237.102-90 Enterprise-wide Contractor Manpower Reporting Application (ECMRA) The contractor shall report contractor labor hours (including subcontractor labor hours) required for performance of services provided under this contract for the SPAWAR SSC Pacific via a secure data collection site. Contracted services excluded from reporting are based on Product Service Codes (PSCs).
