MARKET SURVEY/CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR AUTOMATED DATABASE PUBLISHING OF AIRPORT/FACILITIES DIRECTORY IAW THE ATTACHED DRAFT STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EITHER MAILED, FAXED OR EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST. CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is seeking interested sources that are capable of providing systems support/maintenance and enhancement services for the publishing of automated chart supplements. Aeronautical Information Services (AJV-5) has automated the publishing of its Airport/Facility Directories (A/FDs) using existing data sources and commercial off the shelf (COTS) software. This entailed the mapping of hundreds of data elements from multiple data sources and was designed to save the organization production time and resources producing the Chart Supplements. System support maintenance and enhancements are now required to support this automated system as data sources change over the system ™s life cycle, new data elements and new sources that are identified. Software licenses, updates and enhancement services are also required. Refer to the draft SOW for details. The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, 8(a) certified firms, and all other business types and sizes, capable of providing the specified services. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make the determination, the FAA requires the following from interested vendors in accordance with the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS): 1. Capability Statement - This document should identify: Type of products/services provided by your firm Products/services of similar size and scope provided by previous contracts (provide detailed information and past performance) Number of years in business 2. The location of where the work would be performed. 3. Expected approach - Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work. 4. Questions or comments regarding the attached draft SOW. All responses to this market survey must be received by 5:00 PM CST, 04/14/2017.
