Description

The Regional Health Contracting Office – Central, Ft. Hood, TX intends to issue an contract pursuant to the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) on a sole source basis to Biomerieux, Inc. for pathology analyzers and compatible bacterial identification testing and antibiotic susceptibility testing. Biomerieux, Inc. is the only company capable of providing the equipment needed with the applicable salient characteristics, as well as compatible tests. Applicable NAICS is 325413. This action will be conducted IAW FAR 12 and 13. This notice is posted for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested firms must identify their interest and provide documentation demonstrating their capability (include detailed technical information and other technical literature) demonstrating the ability to meet the above requirements by e-mailing the Contracting Officer at marci.l.gebhardt.civ@mail.mil no later than 1:00 p.m. on 30 Mar 17. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of future requirements. The Government reserves the right not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice. This item may be awarded without further notice.
