Description

The Phoenix VA Hospital facility has requested a product demonstration vendor fair to occur April 13th from 11 am till 3 pm at the basement quads in the ACI building.   Below are the specifications: This is an aside for small disabled veteran owned small businesses that of course are verified in VIP.   Please ensure your verification is in VIP and that it is updated.   Please respond and let us know if you are interested (also provide literature, etc. on what product you will be displaying) in bringing a bed(s) to Phoenix in April and that you are verified in VIP.     Please provide literature to Cathy Fernandez at Catalina.Fernandez@va.gov. SOW We need to replace the 48 beds for acute mental health.   The beds would have to meet all requirements for acute psychiatry units; our mental health environment of care guidelines state:   platform beds are the safest for an acute psychiatric environment.   The beds must not be able to have an anchor point created by standing the bed on its side or end or by looping a lanyard over the top or back of the bed to hang.   Our current beds are bolted to the floor; we would anticipate the new ones have to be as well.   We would like to also bring in 8 psychiatric medical hospital beds, these would be 8 of the total 48 beds;   as we have patients in mental health with medical needs, there would have to be shortened (or no) power cords and if there are they must be securely fastened to the bed.   We may fluctuate on the # of medical psych beds, actually adding a few more than current identified need.   Products may be taken directly to the basement or through the warehouse if dock /loading unloading facilities are needed.   Photo ID will be needed for badging through the PIV office.   As a reminder, any battery powered products will need to be charged prior to arrival.    Vendors will need to remain with their products and must remove their products upon fair close time (3 p.m.).   No products will be accepted prior to the fair date as there is no storage or staging space availability.     Space is limited, so please limit products to only those that meet the needs requested.   DISCLAIMER This RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation.
