- Answers to technical questions Answers to Technical questions Government Response to Industry Feedback On March 10, 2017 CBP provided a draft RFP for the anticipated DCSS Request for Proposals. Extensive feedback was received, including questions concerning the Data Center technical environment. The technical questions, and resulting responses, are included on the attached document. A high-level summary of the technical environment is also provided to assist vendors in preparing meaningful proposals. No response to this post is required or expected. The first step of the RFP will be issued when internal reviews are completed within 30 days. This will be in accordance with FAR Part 15.202, under Full and Open Competition. This will not be solicited under any Government Wide Acquisition Contracts or DHS Strategic Sourcing Vehicles. Please note : it is not acceptable for potential vendors to solicit incumbent employees on-site during the workday while this solicitation process takes place.
