Description
CLOUDLOCK CLOUD SECURITY SUITE RENEWAL The Philadelphia Office of the U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department intends to solicit the sole source procurement of Cloudlock cloud security suite in support of the National Defense University (NDU). The required security suite will allow NDU to retain its secure cloud capabilities that are required for students to work while off NDU networks. The Government intends to solicit on a sole source basis to SADA Systems, Inc., as a logical follow-on to the order for Google G Suite Business renewal, contract N00189-17-P-Z409. The Google G Suite Business forms the core of NDU ™s cloud software suite, and is supplemented by the security and additional features of the Cloudlock suite. This acquisition is being processed pursuant to FAR Part 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The brand name Cloudlock suite is essential to the Government ™s requirement, and no other known product will fulfill the Government ™s requirement. All other responsible sources may submit concise documentation for consideration regarding their ability to provide the required support, as well as financial and technical information. However, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Furthermore, no award will be made on the basis of information received in response to this notice and the Navy will not pay for any information provided. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether or not competitive procurement is a possibility. Such information, if submitted, should be forwarded to NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office, 700 Robbins Ave., Bldg. 2B, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083, to the attention of Joseph Maier, Code 290.2K, and reference acquisition control number 2017-1283. Using the procedures at FAR subpart 13.5, the solicitation is issued concurrent with the synopsis. The issuance of a firm, fixed-price purchase order is contemplated with delivery period of 15 days after award. The applicable Product Service Code (PSC) and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code are 7030 and 541519, respectively. If this procurement were competed, no additional synopsis would be published and a request for quotation would only be forwarded to the intended source and entities that responded to this synopsis of intent.
